Visual Basic.NET - From Handheld Devices to Internet Applications.

Microsoft.NET will enable developers to create applications that fully harness the connectivity of the Internet and minimize building infrastructure aross multiple devices.

With Visual Studio.NET and .NET Framework developers will be able to increase productivity by minimizing code writing and leveraging existing investments to get applications to market faster at a reduced cost.

A unified programming model and integrated infrastucture withing the OS dramatically speeds the development process for developers where applications built with .NET Framework are automatically Internet enabled and can easily be transformed into Web services.
